Scheduling Coach: The Newest Member of Your Success Team
With fall semester registration fast approaching, I’d like to introduce you to the position of scheduling coach, a new staff member at Ivy Bridge who you will be working with. Your scheduling coach will assist you through the registration process by helping with course selection and placing your book orders (if needed).Although your success coach will continue to be your main point of contact, your scheduling coach can serve as a resource and will assist you in a number of ways:
Semester registration – Your scheduling coach will help you select courses each semester that will fulfill your graduation requirements and will place your semester book order, if necessary.
Schedule changes – Need to add or drop a course? After speaking with your success coach and Financial Aid Advisor, your scheduling coach will help assess how a schedule change would affect your graduation date and will process the necessary paperwork in order to finalize the schedule change.
Graduation audits – Your scheduling coach will update your curriculum sheet each term after final grades are submitted to ensure you have a smooth path towards graduation and meet all graduation requirements.
Change of major – Thinking of changing your major? Your scheduling coach can help you assess how changing your major would affect your graduation date.
Previous college transcript evaluations – If you attended a college or university prior to Ivy Bridge College, send in your official college transcripts and your scheduling coach will complete a transcript evaluation to help determine how those courses would transfer and fulfill your current graduation requirements.
We at Ivy Bridge are excited to add the scheduling coach to your support team. By partnering with your success coach, financial aid advisor, and other university personnel, your scheduling coach is committed to providing you with a positive student experience.
