My name is Phyllis Bixler and I am the Tutoring Coordinator at Ivy Bridge College. Prior to August 2010 tutoring had only been available to our students via a company called SmartThinking. While this online tutoring program is good for some students, many needed more directed assistance with their classes. I was hired to create an in-house tutoring program that would initially meet the needs of students in the fundamental English and Math classes, but that will eventually reach out to the entire Ivy Bridge population.
